About the Photographer
Nicole studied Fine Art and photography at the University of Ottawa. She keeps up with the trends of both the technology and art of photography.
Nicole captures evocative, emotional photographs. She sees beauty in the world around us and in every person in it. Her goal is to capture that beauty in her pictures.
Photographs enrich people's lives when they can look at a picture and are transported right back to the time and place it was taken. When a photo really works, it reminds people of the intensity of the emotions and the beauty in both others and themselves. A great photo captures the passion, feelings, and beauty of the subject, and they have that photo to help them re-live that memory forever.
The service and quality of the final product (whether it is in the form of prints, albums or electronic files) is important, but the experience of the photo shoot itself is all part of the package. Nicole endeavours to make every session fun and memorable in itself. She doesn't spend a lot of time getting her clients into stiff poses, but asks them to relax, and just be themselves.
Nicole photographs all sorts of subjects, but loves shooting people best. Need a professional shot for a newsletter or business card? A graduation photo? Engagement or anniversary photos?
